Next from the Omen IV Intern Prototype Collection: Tactical Farmer.
Tactical Farmer turns a mundane job into a physics-driven race against the clock. The objective is simple: collect produce and other required objects scattered around each level and deliver them into the correct containers before time runs out.
The complication is that moving objects is physical. They can be picked up, carried, dropped, thrown, launched, stacked and used to manipulate the environment — and, with enough skill, thrown directly into their destination from across the level. What begins as a sorting task quickly becomes a game about movement, physics, improvisation and efficiency.
Tactical Farmer embraces absurdity: agricultural work treated with the urgency of a tactical operation. Produce flies through the air, players sprint between objectives, and carefully organised farming quickly becomes controlled chaos.
It is the second prototype in the collection, and a good example of the kind of game we like to make: easy to understand in seconds, surprisingly deep once the clock starts.
