game overview
Most platformers give the player a path. Perch gives the player a gap. You play Sunny, a young maintenance worker at the deeply dysfunctional Zoomies Electronics, sent into hazardous facilities with only a company-issued Perch Gun and told to fix the systems nobody else will go near.
The Perch Gun fires solid adhesive blocks that permanently attach to compatible surfaces and become part of the environment. No bridge? Build one. Ledge too far? Create a stepping stone. Need to climb? Make your own staircase. The defining rule is simple: the level creates the problem, the player creates the path.
Blocks are limited, so the most obvious solution is rarely the best one. Stepping stones instead of a full bridge, a few carefully placed ledges instead of stairs — every safe structure costs resources, and every risky one saves them. Your engineering decides how hard your platforming gets.
